Judge Wendy Roberts is a Garnet Valley resident seeking election to serve as a judge for the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas.
After completing her Bachelor’s degree coursework in English from the University of Connecticut at the age of 20, Wendy received her Juris Doctor from the Widener University School of Law.
Wendy currently serves as the judge for Magisterial District Court 32-2-49, a position she has held since 2014. Wendy’s duties include presiding over civil trials and criminal preliminary hearings, reviewing and issuing search warrants for law enforcement, setting bail, and overseeing court proceedings and administration.
Wendy was previously a partner at Nistico Roberts, PC, and in that practice appeared in Common Pleas Court over one thousand times. She has been an adjunct professor for 20 years at Delaware Law at Widener University.
Wendy was the 2018 President of the Delaware County Magisterial Judges’ Association and is active in the Special Court Judges’ Association of Pennsylvania.
She has taught her peers in over 100 hours of Continuing Legal Education. Wendy sits on the board of the Garnet Valley Education Foundation and is a member of the K-12 Counseling Advisory Committee.
She is a member of the Republican Women of Western Delaware County, and worked for 20 years as an arbitrator for the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas.
Wendy, her husband Bill, and their two children reside in Bethel Township.
